Woodbadge

Wood Badge for the 21st Century is a course that has been modified by BSA to meet the needs of Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity Scout and Venturing Leaders.  The focus of the course is on leadership skills that can be applied in Scouting units at all levels.

Lord Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of the world Scouting movement, created the Wood Badge course to teach adult leaders about Scouting in the setting of the Scouting program.  Attendees at Wood Badge develop leadership knowledge and skills that can be used in their Pack, Troop, Crew or Team positions as well as in their private and professional lives.

For more information on upcoming Wood Badge course, please contact the Council Service Center.
