The units within the Oregon Trail Council all have great opportunities to raise
money for themselves through official Council Fundraisers.
Popcorn Sales
Trail's End Popcorn helps individual units raise Thousands of dollars
each fall. Units that use the full sales program give the boys and
families in their units the following:

Your unit can provide in one annual fundraiser, enough funds to support
any "Ideal Year of Scouting".
Use the following checklist to make sure your unit benefits from this
great campaign:

Fill out commitment card

Attend campaign kickoff

Attend all popcorn trainings

Sit down with unit committee and plan the "Ideal Year of Scouting" for
your unit

Before a unit venture's out to perform a fundraiser, they need to submit
a Unit Money Earning Form to the local Council Service Center. This
insures that the unit is raising money in accordance to the principle of
Safe Scouting and the rules of the BSA.
