The annual District Dinner is to recognize and celbrate our great volunteers in the Doug Fir District. Each unit should buy a table of 8 and invited leaders to join in the fun with their spouses.

Great food, great friends, and great awards are on the agenda. Each unit should nomimnate at least one Sparkplug of the Year and submit knot applications by the May Roundtable.

There are awards for the top Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, Coach, Advisor, and Commissioner as well as the District Award of Merit and Spirit of the Fir Awards. To nominate folks for these awards, use the forms listed to the right. And subimt by the May Roundtable.

Each year, we show of Scouting in Action by showing a slide show. To have your photos in the show, email them to the webmaster. Below are previous year's shows in a flash format for you to enjoy.

Every volunteer within the local program is encouraged to attend.  Every unit is encouraged to provide the opportunity for each volunteer to attend.  Those who attend, come home energized about Scouting.  By recognizing our volunteers, we recognized every boy who has been reached by the adult Scouter.
