It is the function of the District Camping committee to promote Scout Camping in its units. It does this through unit contact and service by promoting local District, Council, and National Camping programs and emphasizing a year-round outdoor experience. It is also responsible for Health and Safety at District Events and promoting Leave no Trace principles.
In order to assist our units in finding camping opportunities, we are providing the following pages to help them plan a quality program that includes an outdoor element.

National Scouting Bases
